Angiogenesis-osteogenesis coupling: a key element in bone physiology and regeneration

چکیده
Bone represents a well vascularized structure which is remodelled and renewed continuously. It consists of osteoblasts, osteoclasts osteocytes have precise role in the context endochondral intramembranous ossification. While link between bone tissue, marrow haematopoiesis crucial for generation progenitor forming cells, recent research indicates that physiology as healing, repair regeneration directly dependent on angiogenesis. Experimental suggest angiogenesis osteogenesis are coupled through mechanism type H endothelial cells paramount importance. Apart from other molecular elements such HIF Notch CD31-endomucin capillaries miR-497∼195 clusters may significant angiogenesis-osteogenesis coupling. The number decreases significantly elderly paralleled by drop supply cells. This would explain loss decreased potential seen patients. Overall, it suggested represent therapeutic targets various pathological conditions characterized impaired regeneration.

It Takes Two to Tango: Coupling of Angiogenesis and Osteogenesis for Bone Regeneration
Bone regeneration is a complex process requiring highly orchestrated interactions between different cells and signals to form new mineralized tissue. Blood vessels serve as a structural template, around which bone development takes place, and also bring together the key elements for bone homeostasis into the osteogenic microenvironment, including minerals, growth factors and osteogenic progenit...

The clinical need for effective bone regeneration therapy remains in huge demands. However, the current "gold standard" treatments of autologous and allogeneic bone grafts may result in various complications. Furthermore, safety considerations of biomaterials and cell-based treatment require further clarification. Therefore, developing new therapies with stronger osteogenic potential and a lowe...

متن کاملAngiogenesis — The Key to Regeneration
The fundament of regeneration is the tissue’s potential to grow, to differentiate and therefore to continually bridge permanently emerging damages. It is a stepless coexistence of build-up and degradation processes in which a plethora of enzymes, signal proteins, ligands and their corresponding receptors on different regulatory levels are involved. These processes concern every part of the body...

It is a big challenge for bone healing under osteoporotic pathological condition with impaired angiogenesis, osteogenesis and remodeling. In the present study, the effect of Ca, Mg, Si containing akermanite bioceramics (Ca2MgSi2O7) extract on cell proliferation, osteogenic differentiation and angiogenic factor expression of BMSCs derived from ovariectomized rats (BMSCs-OVX) as well as the expre...
